Providing quality educational opportunities that meet the needs of Antioquia’s diverse population is Governor Fajardo’s central focus. His administration has begun work on 80 educational parks throughout Antioquia in order to replicate a model that proved successful in combatting inequality, violence, and the culture of illegality in Medellín.

Sergio Fajardo is the governor of Antioquia, Colombia, and the former mayor of Medellín. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
