Overview
Field Research Grants are intended to provide graduate students with early experience conducting hands-on field research in Latin America and the Caribbean, and the opportunity to develop independent research projects. These grants are for travel to and in-person field research in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Application Process
Applications are due 11:59 pm on February 2, 2026.

- Upload a proposal narrative to the application.
- Upload a curriculum vitae (CV) and academic transcript ( unofficial transcript is acceptable) to the application.
- Ensure that one faculty member has submitted a recommendation for you using the following link: https://forms.gle/7YP6zDsqUmT9a5TH6
- Submit all application materials by 11:59 pm, February 2, 2026.
