Event Description
Alejandro Toledo, Ph.D., is the former president of Peru (2001–06) and the founder and current president of the Global Center for Development and Democracy which focuses on the interrelationship between poverty and inequality and the future of democracy. He is a Payne Distinguished Visiting Lecturer at the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies and a Distinguished Fellow at the Center for Advanced Studies in the Behavioral Sciences, both at Stanford.
