Commenting on the Spring 2021 Berkeley Review of Latin American Studies, Rosemary Joyce, CLAS Interim Chair from January to June 2021, reviews the themes and highlights of this issue: Covid-19 in Latin America, struggles for AfroLatinx progress, faculty and student research, and support for Indigenous language learning, among others.
