RACE & IDENTITY: Legacies of Struggle: Reflecting on the AfroLatinx Voices Roundtable Series

One of the founders of the Blackness in Latin America Working Group at CLAS looks at the origins and initial steps of the new AfroLatinx Voices Series at CLAS. Given new impetus by the murder of George Floyd, the Center set out to put more emphasis on issues of race and identity, responding to our community by broadening and deepening an initial plan to include a wider array of experts and topics in the series. John Mundell looks at the process and the first results of this new initiative.
