García served as chief of Bloomberg’s Mexico City bureau and founded the country's first digital financial publication, Sentido Común, today known as Axis Negocios. Luis Carlos Ugalde is the director of Integralia Consultores and former president of Mexico’s National Electoral Institute. He has taught at Harvard, Georgetown, and Columbia, where he earned his PhD in political science. He is a fellow at Harvard’s Weatherhead Center for International Affairs for the 2025-26 academic year.
Eduardo García has spent more than three decades combining an economics background with a multifaceted journalism career to help local and international audiences make sense of Mexico’s business, economic, social, and political landscapes. He served as bureau chief of Bloomberg News in Mexico and founded the country’s first digital financial publication, Sentido Común —today known as Axis Negocios.
