Bio/CV:
Lucrecia Martel was born in Salta, Argentina, and attended the National School of Experimentation and Filmmaking in Buenos Aires. She is a film director and screenwriter. She directed films including The Swamp (2001), The Holy Girl (2004), and Zama (2017). Nuestra Tierra was released in 2025.
She taught a workshop at UC Berkeley in April 2026 titled, inventemos nuevos modos de expresar la convulsión planetaria que estamos viviendo.
