The Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies is excited to announce three funding opportunities for Berkeley Students:
1) Tinker Field Research Grants: for graduate students to gain early experience conducting hands-on field research in Latin America and the Caribbean, and the opportunity to develop independent research projects. These grants are for travel to and in-person field research in Latin America and the Caribbean. Due date: Feburary 2.
2) FLAS Summer Fellowships: for Berkeley undergraduate and graduate students to study Spanish, Portuguese, or Nahuatl at a language program based in the US. Due date: February 2.
3) Summer Dissertation Writing Fellowship: for ABD graduate students who are in the final stages of PhD dissertation writing to help them complete projects on Latin American or Caribbean Studies (broadly defined). Due date: February 6.
